Leica Microsystems GmbH of Wetzlar, Germany, has integrated Vision BioSystems Ltd. of Mount Waverley, Victoria, Australia, with its sectioning and specimen processing business to form a new division. The Biosystems Division will develop histopathology instruments as well as antibodies and reagents for life sciences, surgical and industrial applications. Leica Microsystems and Vision BioSystems are part of Washington-based Danaher Corp.
