LightPath Acquires Visimid Technologies
ORLANDO, Fla., July 28, 2023 — LightPath Technologies, a manufacturer and integrator of optical and infrared technologies, has acquired Visimid Technologies, an engineering and design firm specializing in thermal imaging, night-vision, and Internet of Things applications. Terms of the cash and stock transaction were not announced.
Visimid provides design and consulting services for Department of Defense contractors, commercial and industrial customers, and OEMs for original new products. The company specializes in the development and production of thermal and night-vision cores, such as LightPath’s Mantis camera.
