ORLANDO, Fla., May 16, 2012 — Optical components manufacturer LightPath Technologies Inc. has retained Hayden IR to develop and implement a strategic investor relations program to raise its visibility and to strengthen its relationship with the investment community.

“LightPath is at an exciting inflection point, and we believe the timing is appropriate to increase investor awareness and discuss our opportunities with new investors,” said Jim Gaynor, president and CEO. “The technology and manufacturing expertise we’ve developed has given us an exciting platform for growth for our core precision-molded optics business as well as a compelling, incremental opportunity in the infrared space.”

The new infrared offerings could approximately double the company’s business over the next three years, Gaynor said.

“With this transformation under way, we felt this was an appropriate time to engage Hayden IR to help us articulate our new value proposition to potential investors,” he said.

Hayden IR, with offices in New York, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Seattle and San Diego, provides investor relations services in areas such as investor management, relationship building, online presence, awareness campaigns and corporate identity.
