LightPath to Supply Digital Camera Maker

ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 29, 2012 — LightPath Technologies Inc. will supply lenses to an undisclosed digital camera manufacturer under a $1.1 million initial stocking order, the company announced Thursday.

“Digital imaging applications with capabilities that enable digital resolution in excess of 4X HD [high definition] quality are just now beginning to proliferate through the video production market,” said CEO Jim Gaynor. “These high-tech optics are a critical element in high-performance camera and digital projection systems.”

Delivery of the lenses will begin the first quarter of 2013.
