Active Industrial Solutions has appointed Doug LoFranco as president and CEO. LoFranco will lead the AIS Technologies Group, which comprises Radix Inc. and the Active Industrial Solutions’ Gauge and Fixture, Automation, and Specialty Machining divisions. He brings extensive executive management experience in the industrial automation space, most recently as president of M&R Automation Canada Inc.; vice president and general manager of ABB Robotics Inc.; and vice president and general manager of Wheelabrator Group. “I am delighted to be joining the team at the AIS Technologies Group and look forward to being part of a division that provides innovative technologies for advanced manufacturing solutions for a variety of industries across North America,” LoFranco said.
