Lumex and element14, formerly Farnell, have announced a strategic partnership to enhance their LED and LCD product portfolios across the Asia-Pacific region.

The partnership is expected to strengthen the global distribution agreement between the two companies. In addition, it allows electronic design engineers in the Asia Pacific to acquire a range of more than 8000 Lumex optoelectronic components from element14’s inventory of 130,000 products, including QuasarBrite LEDs, InfoVue LCDs, TitanBrite high-power LEDs, QuantumBrite backlights, TransBrite light pipes and SunBrite general illumination.

Lumex now offers its products via element14’s high-service, multichannel distribution with no minimum order quantities.

From its distribution hubs in Shanghai, China, Singapore and Sydney, Australia, element14 offers 130,000 products to cities in the Asia Pacific.
