MICLEDI Microdisplays Forms US Subsidiary
LEUVEN, Belgium, Dec. 20, 2022 — MICLEDI Microdisplays, a microLED display technology company, will establish a U.S. location in Chandler, Ariz. MICLEDI has operated in the U.S. for almost two years, and the headquarters will provide a stateside location to support key personnel.
MICLEDI USA, a Delaware corporation, was formed in anticipation of the company’s expanding presence in the U.S. and Asia.
According to MICLEDI, it formed the subsidiary in response to customer interest in its expertise in microLEDs for AR headsets. Customer engagement has been favorable, with many Tier 1 OEMs evaluating early samples of the company’s blue and green microLED arrays, the company said.
Corporate functions, R&D, process development, and operations will continue in Leuven, Belgium.
