Markland Subsidiary Gains US Army Contracts

Markland Technologies Inc. of Ridgefield, Conn., has announced that its subsidiary, EOIR Technologies Inc., has received roughly $2 million in contracts from the US Army's Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate. Under the two-year program, EOIR, of Woodbridge, Va., will provide support services, such as performing airborne and laboratory experiments, designing and fabricating airborne sensors and data collection equipment, and collecting, reducing and analyzing data from various flight, field or laboratory tests. The company also will prepare documentation to support management and technical aspects of sensor development and test programs.
