Martinez Named VP Engineering at Mobius Photonics

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Nov. 19, 2012 — Manuel Martinez, former engineering manager at Mobius Photonics Inc., has been promoted to vice president of engineering.

Since joining Mobius Photonics in 2009, Martinez has led new product introductions and established the company’s quality control program, including root cause and corrective action procedures. He has also contributed to the company’s product designs, the fiber-based laser source supplier said.

Prior to joining the company, Martinez was a staff engineer at KLA-Tencor. He also held engineering positions at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co. and Lightwave Electronics.
