Chip and component developer CST Global Ltd. has appointed Jaimie McGinty as its management execution system (MES) technician for production and supply chain control. McGinty manages the MES, which enables real-time, accurate tracking of data and inventory. He was previously responsible for data management engineering at Jabil, and was also a reliability technician at Gemfire. “My prime duty is internal supply chain management, improving efficiency and productivity throughout the foundry, in line with our ISO 9001:2015 quality standards,” McGinty said. “CST Global’s laser production is high-volume, so barcoding and the electronic measurement of real-time work in progress are essential elements to implementing a lean production strategy for the company. We are constantly aiming to improve production planning and delivery accuracy. We also gather data relating to quality and yield for ongoing process and supplier improvement.” CST Global develops, manufactures and sells chips, components, modules and subsystems based on proprietary advanced semiconductor technology in microwave, milliwave and optical semiconductors.
