Metrobility Optical Systems Supplies Access in Mexico

MERRIMACK, N.H., Feb. 22 -- Telum, an IP multiservice carrier in Latin America, has ordered the Radiance Optical Ethernet System for its metro access applications from Metrobility Optical Systems. The company will install Metrobility's Radiance 5000 and 400 models configured with a variety of 100Mbps optical Ethernet access line cards to provide cable and Ethernet services.

Telum has installed over 1,300 kilometers of optical fiber and last-mile technology in Monterrey, Mexico, and its metropolitan area. Telum said it expects to install over a million dollars of access technology in its network within this year.
