OCT products manufacturer Michelson Diagnostics Ltd. of London has won a £25,000 grant from the UK government’s Technology Strategy Board (TSB) to study the feasibility of highly miniaturized OCT probes for cancer diagnoses. The company will determine which technologies to use in the development of practical rigid and/or flexible OCT probes for attachment to its VivoSight multibeam platform. Of more than 700 applications received by the TSB, only 69 were awarded funding.
