In the Netherlands, Fotonica Evenement 2011 is the meeting point in the Benelux to discover new possibilities in photonics. Organized by Mikrocentrum, based in Eindhoven, and Photonics Cluster Netherlands, in Koudekerk a/d Rijn, this fifth-edition conference and exhibition has been expanded into a two-day event to be held at the Nieuwegein’s Business Center on March 29-30. The conference program will include health care and life sciences, information and communications technology, photonics in daily life, lighting, industrial photonics, fundamental research photonics and solar. Technology topics will include microscopy, integrated optics, optical sensing and imaging, LEDs, organic LEDs and lasers. The event was established to create a bridge between the research and business sectors and between new technologies and innovative applications.
