Militram to Represent LightPath in Israel

Optical components and assemblies manufacturer LightPath Technologies Inc. of Orlando, Fla., has signed a contract designating Militram Corp. of Herzliya, Israel, as its exclusive sales representative in that country, effective in June 2011. LightPath manufactures standard- and custom-molded optics for visible and infrared applications, and Militram is Israel’s largest electro-optics sales organization, with branches throughout the country. Militram said that much of the commercial and military activity in Israel in custom and molded optics has been initiated by its market development and sales team. The partnership is expected to strengthen the US company’s global channels for its infrared product line and other optics offerings for the defense and commercial markets.
