OTTAWA, Canada, April 23 -- Mitel Networks, a provider of next-generation IP telephony solutions focused on voice and data convergence for broadband, said that Don Smith has joined the company as its chief executive officer. Smith comes to Mitel from Nortel Networks where he served as president of Optical Internet Solutions.
