Mobius Photonics Expands Headquarters

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., April 7, 2011 — Mobius Photonics Inc. has expanded its corporate headquarters to accommodate the backlog of orders and increased demand on its production flow.

The expansion will allow the company to accommodate the increased demand on its stockroom and on the higher volumes of shipping and receiving. It also will be a long-term step toward increasing its manufacturing capacity.

The offices and manufacturing floor are housed in a 20,000-sq-ft building, where the company develops and produces fiber-based laser sources for applications, including precision materials processing and superresolution microscopy. It already has converted some of its new square footage into stockroom, and shipping and receiving space, and plans to build out for additional manufacturing space as needed.

Mobius Photonics produces fiber-based laser sources for applications that include materials processing for solar cell manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication and assembly, flat panel display manufacturing and superresolution microscopy.
