Computer vision company Overview AI held a $10 million Series A fundraising round, led by Blumberg Capital. Additional backers include Momenta, which is also a primary investor. Google Ventures and Alumni Ventures are new backers of the venture. Previous investors include AME Cloud Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, and GFC Global Founders Capital.

“We believe that Overview’s AI solution works in any production setting,” said Michael Dolbec, managing partner at Momenta. Overview’s software captures images items that moves along a manufacturing line, flagging any flaws for removal, and storing the images in a searchable database. The software solution analyzes an image database to determine the exact number of units that must be recalled or discarded as defective.
