Keithley Instruments Inc. has released the first edition of its Nanotechnology Measurement Handbook: A Guide to Electrical Measurements for Nanoscience Applications. The 124-page publication provides information on how to make precision low-level direct current and pulse measurements on nanomaterials and devices. Useful as a reference tool and as an aid to understanding low-level phenomena in the laboratory, it discusses theoretical and practical considerations involved in measuring high and low resistances, currents and voltages.

nano: An SI prefix meaning one billionth (10-9). Nano can also be used to indicate the study of atoms, molecules and other structures and particles on the nanometer scale.
