NKT Photonics Expands Facilities in China
NKT Photonics has expanded its facilities in Shenzhen, China, in response to increasing demand in the region.
The company has established a full sales, service, and support center and has increased staff. The center is equipped with the latest products from NKT Photonics’ ultrafast laser portfolio and a wide range of high-end test and measurement equipment.
Basil Garabet, president and CEO of NKT Photonics, said in a statement, “The Shenzhen facility significantly strengthens our China presence and enables further growth of our business. The brand-new Application and Service Laboratory will greatly increase our local service and support to our valued customers in the region.”
NKT Photonics is a supplier of high-performance fiber lasers, fiber optic sensing systems, and photonic crystal fibers. The company’s products include ultrafast lasers, supercontinuum white-light lasers, low-noise fiber lasers, distributed temperature-sensing systems, and a wide range of specialty fibers.
