NKT Photonics Opens Facility and Office in Boston
NKT Photonics will celebrate the grand opening of their Boston office on Oct. 30. The facility, announced earlier in the year, will not only serve as a headquarters for U.S. sales and support, but will also accommodate state-of-the-art single-frequency fiber laser production and an application and service laboratory. Stephen Phillips will serve as operations manager for the facility.
NKT Photonics is a supplier of high-performance fiber lasers and photonic crystal fibers, with applications in imaging, sensing, and materials processing. The company supplies ultrafast lasers, such as supercontinuum sources, low-noise fiber lasers, distributed temperature sensing systems, and a range of specialty fibers. The company is headquartered in Denmark, and has sales and service offices worldwide.
