NeoPhotonics Q2 Revenue Exceeding Projections

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 13, 2012 — Based on preliminary financial estimates, photonic integrated circuit manufacturer NeoPhotonics Corp. expects revenue for its second quarter to be $6 million above its previously stated outlook.

The company estimates that its second quarter, ended June 30, will reach $55 million. The estimate is preliminary and subject to adjustment; however, in the absence of material adjustment, second quarter revenue would set a new company record.

The revenue growth is credited to the increased demand in products for high-speed coherent networks, high-speed client applications and access networks.
