New Managing Director Named for Trumpf Canada
FARMINGTON, Conn., March 30, 2015 — 
Stefan Fickenscher has been named managing director of Trumpf Canada Inc.
He succeeds Stefan Schreiber, who returns to Trumpf GmbH + Co. KG in Ditzingen, Germany, as head of central sales subsidiaries in the machine tool division.
Fickenscher joined Trumpf GmbH in 2002 as international project manager for 2-D lasers. He held two additional positions in Germany before transferring to Trumpf Inc. in Farmington, Conn., in 2011. There he managed the TruLaser product group and became responsible for the sales of 2-D laser machines across North America.
In his new role, Fickenscher will be responsible for the day-to-day operations at Trumpf Canada, including sales, service and spare parts at the subsidiary’s new location in Mississauga, Ontario.
Trumpf develops industrial lasers and fabrication machinery for flexible sheet metal processing.
