Nikon Instruments Inc. of Melville, N.Y., has announced June 29 as the deadline for entries to its 27th annual Nikon International Small World Competition. Interested parties may submit up to three images, photographed through a light microscope. Contestants may enter digital images or 35-mm slides. Submissions will be judged based on originality, informational content, technical proficiency and visual impact. The company will announce the winning entries in November in New York.
