The first section of the 625-page work Optical Coherence Tomography: Principles and Applications is for nonphysical scientists, presenting the basic physics and mathematics used in this high-resolution imaging technique. The second section covers the physics and engineering of the technology, including the theoretical derivation of axial and lateral resolution generated with it.
