The Optical Society of America (OSA) announced it will establish permanent organizational ties with the Optoelectronics Industry Development Association (OIDA). With the transition phase underway, OIDA’s activities, services and member benefits will continue without interruption as it prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary. OIDA will remain a separate entity under the OSA umbrella, and will deliver programming and member services under the guidance of its voting members and board. In addition, the partnership will allow both organizations to enhance their business and industrial programming to professionals in the optics and optoelectronics communities.
