Pa., has acquired the assets of New York/New Jersey Scientific Inc. of Middlebush,
N.J., which distributes and resells scientific instruments. Olympus employees as
well as the acquired company’s existing sales staff will sell microscopes,
imaging systems and other products to research institutions, clinical laboratories
and biotech and pharmaceutical companies in New York and New Jersey.
