Ophir Laser Group Rebrands as Ophir Photonics

Precision laser measurement equipment provider Ophir Photonics announced the launch of a new corporate branding strategy and the expansion of its US manufacturing and distribution facilities in Logan. The former Ophir Laser Measurement Group has become the new Ophir Photonics Group.

The branding strategy was developed to further integrate the company’s line of laser measurement instruments, which include power and energy meters, beam profilers, spectrum analyzers and goniometric radiometers. In addition, the company develops durable absorbing surfaces, including its PE25B-DIF and PE100BF-DIF pyroelectric detectors for repetitive pulses.

Ophir-Spiricon recently expanded its manufacturing and distribution facilities in Logan. Now 30 percent larger, the complex features state-of-the-art beam profiling design, manufacturing, testing, service, and a power and energy service and calibration lab.

In addition, Ophir Photonics incorporates Photon Inc.’s laser and fiber beam characterization experience for solving complex optical problems.
