In Ann Arbor, Mich., Arbor Photonics Inc. has signed an exclusive license agreement with the University of Michigan for the latter’s chirally coupled core optical fiber. The company has the right to commercialize the fiber and devices enabled by its design, which could produce high-power, short-pulsed single-mode fiber lasers.
