Optimax Expands Facility
ONTARIO, N.Y., Sept. 27, 2018 — Optimax, the largest prototype high precision optics manufacturer in the United States, broke ground on a 60,000 sq. ft. expansion. The expansion doubles the size of the current facility located in Ontario, NY and adds 59+ jobs over the next five years.
The ceremony included speakers from Optimax, Empire State Development (ESD), Wayne County Industrial Development Agency, Town of Ontario, Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES, and the Greater Rochester Enterprise (GRE).
