OptoTest Growth Spurs Expansion
OptoTest Corp. of Camarillo,
Calif., has purchased adjacent office space to double its workplace to roughly 11,000
sq ft. The space is designed to incorporate state-of-the-art testing and training
for insertion and return loss testing for multifiber termination push-on (MTP) connectors.
The MTP ribbon fiber market has grown over the past few years as a result of new
application areas for the MTP connectors, which include networks, computers and
aerospace. The firm’s recent growth has been spurred by the launch of new
products. Its multifiber equipment product line also is expected to grow. OptoTest
provides test and fiber optics measurement technologies.
