Opton to Distribute Luxmux Diodes
ORSAY, France, June 22, 2018 — Photonics technology distributor Opton Laser International has announced a distribution agreement with superluminescent diode light source developer Luxmux Technology Corp.
Luxmux’s BeST-SLED product line consists of a broadband tunable light source in the NIR wavelength range. It incorporates multiple superluminescent diodes spatially combined covering a spectral range from 1230 to 1730 nm.
“Opton can now offer even more products and options to customers,” said Jean-Claude Sanudo, CEO of Opton. “Luxmux’s technology is unique to the industry, and it will enable our clients to receive even more benefits from specialized light sources at a competitive price.”
Opton is a supplier for the photonics market, particularly in the laser, spectroscopy, instrumental, and optical component fields. Luxmux is a developer of spectroscopy-based solutions and products for the oil and gas industry.
