Orbotech Supplies 1000th Direct Imaging System
YAVNE, Israel, Dec. 3, 2014 — Orbotech will supply Red Board Ltd. of China with a direct imaging system for printed circuit board inspection, marking the 1000th to be produced.
“The sale of our 1000th DI system is a significant occasion for Orbotech,” said Arik Gordon, president of Orbotech’s PCB division.
The DI system, Nuvogo 800, generates a multiwavelength laser beam for high-productivity and the flexibility to use almost any resist. It is also able to achieve up to 7000 panels per day per line.
