Organizational Partnership

The Optical Society of America (OSA) will establish permanent organizational ties with the Optoelectronics Industry Development Association (OIDA). With the transition phase under way, OIDA’s activities, services and member benefits will continue without interruption as it prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary. It will remain a separate entity under the OSA umbrella and will deliver programming and member services with the guidance of its voting members and board. In addition, the partnership will allow the Washington-based organizations to enhance their business and industrial programming for optics and optoelectronics professionals.
