Pangolin, UCF Partner on Laser Education

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 28, 2013 — Pangolin Laser Systems Inc. has partnered with the University of Central Florida to educate students about laser entertainment and industrial laser applications as part of the university’s 50th anniversary celebration.

Pangolin, a longtime supporter of UCF and the College of Optics and Photonics (CREOL), gave an overview presentation to CREOL students and faculty on laser entertainment, the industries it is used in, and how the technology has excelled over the past few years. The company then put on a laser light show for attendees in partnership with Light Systems Design International.

The ceremony marked the university’s 50th year as one of the nation’s leading educational institutions.
