CHEMNITZ, Germany — Laser micromachining company 3D-Micromac AG appointed Hartmut Schubert CTO, effective immediately. Previously, Schubert worked in various technical and managerial positions at Dr. Heinrich Schneider Messtechnik GmbH. Schubert will be responsible for the strategic management of the company’s technology division.

HAYWARD, Calif. — Delphon, a provider of polymers and adhesive products for the semiconductor, photonics, medical, and electronics industries, appointed Joe Montano CEO. Montano was named president of the company last year and will continue to serve in that role. As CEO, he succeeds Jeanne Beacham, who is transitioning executive chair, where she will focus on merger and acquisition opportunities and collaborations, the company said.

LEESBURG, Va. — Quantum Computing Inc. appointed William McGann as COO and CTO. McGann previously served as CTO for the Security, Detection and Automation business of Leidos Corp. and has held numerous business and technology leadership positions, including founder of explosives trace detection company Ion Track Instruments; CTO for GE Security; and CTO at L3Harris Technologies, Security and Detection Systems Division.

FARMINGTON, Conn. — TRUMPF Inc. named Robert Michaud product manager for the TruMatic, TruPunch, and TruBend stand-alone machines at the company’s North American headquarters. Michaud will take over responsibility for the stand-alone TruBend machines from Franziska Maschowski, who will continue to manage TRUMPF’s automated bending cell product line and be responsible for the TruBend Cell products. As head of smart factory applications and bend automation, Maschowski will also take on responsibilities for the TRUMPF Smart Factory applications team in Hoffman Estates, Ill.

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. — Optics and coatings company Ferson Technologies established a new management team. Joseph Madden will serve as CEO, with Daniel Weissman serving as chief strategy officer and Connie Spence serving as COO.

OXFORD, Mass. — IPG Photonics, Genesis Systems appointed Norm Williams as director of sales. IPG acquired Genesis Systems in 2018. It specializes in factory automation with integrated robots for laser-focused technology for welding, cutting, marking, and ablation.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Satellogic will appoint six new board members to guide the company through its public listing. The members, Jenette Ramos, Marcos Galperin, Brad Halverson, Dava Newman, Tarun Bhatnagar, and Robert Bearden will join incoming Chairman Ted Wang and Satellogic CEO Emiliano Kargieman on the board, which will be effective upon the company’s public listing, which was planned to be complete by the end of 2021.
