SYRACUSE, N.Y., June 24, 2016 — Electro-optical instrumentation developer Photo Research Inc. (PR) has merged with its Novanta sister company Jadak, a manufacturer of machine vision, radio-frequency identification and barcode products for the health-care and life sciences industries.

Photo Research is the third company to become part of Jadak, following General Scanning Printer Technologies and SkyeTek RFID.

Jadak designs and manufactures embedded solutions for inspection, tracking, scanning and documenting applications. Photo Research delivers light and color measurement technologies serving the cathode ray tube, flat panel display, automotive, aerospace, lighting, motion picture, research and development industries.
