Photonex is the premier, the largest and most well established photonics exhibition in the UK. It comprises an exhibition of 130+ exhibitors with a strong industry orientated technical program, live demonstrations, focus areas and invitation lectures.
This year, organizers Xmark Media, in partnership with the Photonics Cluster (UK), are launching the Technology Investment Forum. With demand for such an event coming from all sections of the photonics community, the organizers see this event as being a cornerstone activity for the photonics community in the UK. This will be of particular strong interest to technologists, business developers and financiers from all over Europe.
With the support of the government, which views photonics as the wealth generating technology of the next few decades, universities and government research establishments have been continually active in research. With this in mind, the organizers and their supporting sponsors have an innovation and demonstration area from top UK universities at the core of this event. Sixteen universities vie for center stage, bringing their best, most visual and exploitable technologies to the show, each wishing to steal the limelight.
With the added benefit of a free one-day business seminar program, this event is a must attend for anyone with an interest in new innovations, technical presentations, live product demonstrations, product development and commercialization.
