The Southern European Cluster in Photonics and Optics has been launched to improve the competitiveness of the optics and photonics sectors in Spain and southern Europe. Comprising nearly 40 research institutions and companies, it will focus on industrial solutions. Its goals will be to promote research and development collaborations among industry and research organizations, to increase international business, and to improve, attract and maintain talent.
