Photronic Devices of West Bridgewater and CyOptics of Waltham, both in Massachusetts, have formed a strategic joint product development venture in which they will pool resources to enhance their business. Under the agreement, Photronic Devices will supply programmable laser diode drivers for use in CyOptics' 10-Gb/s electro-absorption modules. In exchange, CyOptics will provide Photronic access to its worldwide sales force.
