Power Technology Forms Component Group

Power Technology Inc. of Little Rock, Ark., announced it has formed a Photonic Component Group for the distribution of laser components from diode manufacturers including Sanyo, Eagleyard Photonics, Snake Creek Lasers and InTopto. Power Technology develops and distribtues laser diode products for OEM analytical, biomedical and industrial applications, including modules with wavelengths from 370 to 1600 nm; temperature-stabilized modules; lasers with beam circularization; and continuous wave, pulsed and modulated lasers. It is also a reseller of Opnext (powered by Hitachi) products. The company will exhibit (Booth 521) at Photonics West 2008, to be held Jan. 19-24 in San Jose, Calif. (exhibition: Jan. 22-24).
