Precision Solutions Names Interfire II Distributor

STEVENAGE, UK, June 30, 2010 — Precision Solutions announced the appointment of Metrology Concepts LLC as its US distributor for the Interfire II family of infrared interferometers.

Based in Rochester, N.Y., Metrology Concepts specializes in surface and wavefront measurement solutions for the laser, ophthalmic, precision optics and scientific markets.

The interferometer is suitable for use in production, quality control and research applications. It features four instruments operating at 3 to 5 µm, 10.6 µm, 9.2 to 10.7 µm tunable, 1.55 µm and 850 nm.

The company operates in the key markets addressed by Precision Solutions' products. Additionally, it has a working relationship with Fisba Optik, which supplies the µShape measurement and analysis software utilized in the Interfire II series.
