ProPhotonix Appoints Distributors in US, Germany and Taiwan
SALEM, N.H., April 5, 2012 — To further strengthen its international machine vision illumination sales operation, ProPhotonix Ltd. has appointed three distribution partners in Europe, Asia and the US.
NexLase of Munich, a distributor of lasers, and laser safety and optics accessories, was named a German distributor of ProPhotonix’s machine vision illumination products.
Nevis of Taiwan, a full-service engineering and technology provider, will integrate the company’s laser and LED illumination products into its end-user applications.
Saber1 of Chelmsford, Mass., the company’s new US distributor, will provide customers with vision components, including software, cameras and frame grabbers.
The agreements build on the company’s machine vision market position in North America and Europe as well as increasing its footprint in the Far East.
ProPhotonix manufactures diode-based laser modules and LED systems for OEMS and medical equipment companies.
