Qioptiq
Point Source, a member of the Qioptiq Group, has been renamed
Qioptiq, effective immediately. The rebranding decision was part of the group’s
strategy to operate under a single brand worldwide. Acquired by Qioptiq in 2008,
the Hamble, UK, company develops high-value flexible laser technology for the precision
instrumentation used in biotechnology research and semiconductor fabrication. Qioptiq
will remain in Hamble, where its engineering, manufacturing and test facility is
based.
