The companies of the Linos Group announced they will change their name to Qioptiq, effective July 1, 2010. Formerly Linos AG, Linos GmbH will now be called Qioptiq Holding GmbH. Linos Photonics GmbH & Co. KG will operate under the name of Qioptiq Photonics GmbH & Co. KG from that date. The manufacturer of complex optical systems will complete its integration into the Qioptiq Group, which started the takeover in 2006. The name change will not result in any other changes for Linos customers and business partners. Employees at the Göttingen, Feldkirchen and Regen sites will also not face any changes.
