Range of LED products from SUPO
Jun 2010
Jun. 29, 2010 — Ever since I started blogging at, I have been approached by several suppliers of LEDs and associated products across Asia to assist in selling their products. Well, I can definitely do my bit by writing about such folks.

One such company is SUPO Industrial Co. Ltd. from mainland China, which specializes in manufacturing all kinds of LED products. Its offering includes LED panel lights, LED tube lights, LED modules, LED wall washers, LED strips lights, LED down lights, LED spot lights, and LED street lights.

Established in 1998, the supplier has dedicated itself to designing and manufacturing LED materials for LED industry right from the very beginning. It can also provide a wide range of capabilities in R&D and production. SUPO claims to produce most of its LEDs in-house, and also subcontracts some of the LEDs manufacturing to its partners' factory. The entire LED production is said to be well monitored and inspected. The chip is sourced from Taiwan Epistar.

Having started a Japanese fully-automatic SMT line, SUPO has a production capacity of manufacturing 30,000 pieces of modules, 8,000-m flex-strips and 5,000 sets of variant lights each day. The supplier has also acquired the ISO 9001-2000 certification.. Its products are CE and FCC approved, and are RoHS compliant.

SUPO products feature long life span and stability, with the supplier guaranteeing over 50,000 hours life. The average light output after 10, 000 hours continuously lighting will be 85 percent comparing the original brightness. The high-power LED module has better light reservation. It can hold up to 90 to 95 percent of the light after emitting 10,000 hours continuously.

Since I've spent a long time in the Greater China region, buyers are advised to visit the SUPO facility in Shenzhen, China. I'll also tell you how to reach Shenzhen.

Shenzhen is quite easy to reach from Hong Kong. Fly down to Hong Kong, and from the international airport, take the Airport Express to Hong Kong Central station. Switch to the MTR line and disembark at Tsim Sha Tsui station. Walk down to the KCR line for Lo Wu (Shenzhen) border. Alternatively, you can take a cab from Hong Kong airport to Shenzhen. Don't worry friends, Hong Kong has one of the best transport systems in the world, and reaching Shenzhen is a breeze. However, you'll need the correct address in Shenzhen to reach your destination. Best of luck!
