Raylase Appoints Schön as Chinese Subsidiary CEO

WESSLING, Germany, Oct. 10, 2018 — Philipp Schön has become CEO of RAYLASE Laser Technology Co. Ltd., the subsidiary of RAYLASE GmbH in Shenzhen, China.

Philipp SchönThis change in leadership marks the completion of the final formal transfer of responsibility from original founder and CEO Peter von Jan to Schön. Flora Dai, general manager at RAYLASE Laser Technology Co. Ltd., established the brand in China and heads up operations at the subsidiary.

The company’s newly established board of directors consists of Schön, Dai, and Berthold Dambacher, chief technology officer of RAYLASE Germany, ensuring the strategic alignment of the Chinese subsidiary and the group headquarters in Germany.

RAYLASE offers high-precision components, control cards, and software for the fast deflection and modulation of laser beams.
