3-D ‘Erotic Comedy’ Scores Big in Hong Kong

Apr. 28, 2011 — It was bound to happen, of course. With 3-D ever more popular at the box office, it was only a matter of time before 3-D porn started popping up in the theaters. Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy — a remake of a 1991 Hong Kong movie of the same name — took in HK$2.78 million (US $0.36 million) on its first day, breaking the record previously held by James Cameron’s Avatar (HK$2.63 million).
