In Wellesley, Mass., Bodkin Design & Engineering LLC has received a $750,000 Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract from the US Navy for the development of a compact polarimetric imager for IR and visible wavelengths. To aid in the detection of targets from airborne and ground-based surveillance, the polarimeter sensor cuts through cluttered environments to identify and locate military targets in real time.
