Alfalight to Provide Laser Modules for US Navy

MADISON, Wis., Jan. 22, 2014 — Alfalight Inc. has signed a $1.7 million contract to supply the US Naval Surface Warfare Center with new long-range, nonlethal laser systems. The company will develop high-power green laser systems with active eye-safety technology for the Warfare Center’s Dahlgren Division. A developer of IR and visible laser systems for defense and security applications, Alfalight will create the laser systems using its advanced electro-optics and integrated control methodologies.
