American Optics Completes New Facility

SARASOTA, Fla., Aug. 30, 2011 — American Photonics Co. announced the completion of its new manufacturing facility, located at 6621 19th St. E. Quadrupling its capacity, the new site will open Sept. 1. The facility was designed and built to maximize efficiency and precision of optical fabrication and coating during high-speed production. In addition to the CO2 laser cutting, and welding and marking optics sectors, the infrared optics and coatings company serves the military, aerospace, medical and scientific markets.
